Great time trick-or-treating

Isaac went trick-or-treating with his neighbors/friends, Sam, Frida, Kate, and Colin. We all went over to Sue's house for veggie soup and salad. It was a great evening! Unfortunately, in the only photo we got of the Dempsey family dressed up, I have my eyes closed, of course!

Dave's aunt and uncle were in Chicago for their anniversary, so they stopped by to visit. It was such a nice surprise and so fun to hang out with them!

We bought some snacks and spent the afternoon enjoying the fall weather at Scoville Park in Oak Park.

It was a beautiful and crowded day at the pumpkin farm! Hannah cooperated and we all had a good time.

Day off at Lincoln Park Zoo

It was an amazingly beautiful October day, so Dave and Melissa took the day off to take the kids to the zoo.  They both did really great and we stayed most of the day.  We had a picnic lunch, and Hannah napped in the stroller.  Isaac loved climbing on the combine at the Farm and loved the gorillas.
