At the Shedd Aquarium

Dave's cousins, Beth and Chris, and their daughter, Meredith, were in town, so we met them at the Shedd for the day. We saw the dolphin show, a movie, had lunch, played in the tent, petted the starfish, went down the slide, and watched all the fish. It was a great, exhausting day!

Isaac's burn

Isaac burned his arm tonight while helping Mommy stir the Mac n Cheese. Dave did a great job entertaining Isaac at the emergency room, while Melissa felt incredibly guilty.

Isaac was so tough! He amazed both of us and the doctors because he didn't even flinch when they scrubbed his burn!

Brookfield Zoo

Isaac and I met our friends Becca and Sabina at the zoo for the day. We watched the dolphin show and had fun just playing around.

Millennium Park

The highlight of the day was running in the big fountain at Millennium Park.

We took Isaac downtown today to see the big buildings. He was really excited to ride the train!

Isaac found some trains that we were waiting to give him.  So, we made a short track and let him play with it on the front porch.  He'll get the rest of his new train table when the basement is finished and we have a little more room.

I told Isaac that I needed to clean the bathroom, and he said, "I'll help". So, I handed him a rag and he had a great time cleaning the sink and mirror.

Isaac loves to sit in the car at Kidsnips and watch Elmo while they cut his hair.  He was so good.  He got an eraser (that he calls a penny) and a balloon afterwards!
