Great day on the boat

The Patricks were camping this weekend at Pokagon.  We tried to pick them up on Saturday night for a boat ride, but saw some lightening and had to call it quits.  We got to go out Sunday though. We swam at the sandbar and then tried tubing for the first time.  Isaac fell off the tube, but everyone had a great time!  Then, we hung out at their campsite til the kids were ready for bed.  Great day with our cousins!

Awesome day at the zoo!  Melissa got her first day off with the kids this summer.  Work had been really busy and she's been working full time since March.  She took the kids to the zoo right after Miles' nap.  It was Jelani, the giraffe's 16th birthday.  Hannah fed the giraffe, we saw the orangutans and rode the carousel!

Lake day

Had an amazing spontaneous day at the lake today.  We didn't plan to go up at all this weekend.  We were just going to chill at home getting some things done.  But Sunday looked gorgeous and the kids really wanted to see Chase and Lauren.  So, we drove up, hung out at the sandbar for a few hours and made it back just in time for Mass.  Perfect Sunday!
