Botanical Gardens

It was a raining day off today, so I took the kids to the FW Botanical Gardens. I hadn't been there since I was a kid. It was a nice, quiet morning. Isaac was such a "gentleman" opening every door for me and Hannah!

Zoo day

We had a great morning at the zoo with Mommy and Grandpa Dave!

Alyss and Nick visit

Isaac's babysitter, Alyss, and her husband, Nick stopped by to visit on their way from Chicago to Cedar Point. We had lunch at McAlister's and then Alyss helped Isaac make some snowflakes. It was so nice to see them again!

Grandpa Dave found a KettCar at a garage sale and bought it for Isaac. He loves it!

St. Elizabeth Seton Fest

We went to the annual festival at our new church today while Dave's dad was visiting. Isaac had a great time playing games. He won enough tokens for a "pirate hook". He also loved hitting baseballs and jumping in the bounce house. Hannah loved the fruit kabobs for dinner! Later, we listened to the band and got a little goofy!

We finally put sand in our old sandbox again. Isaac and Hannah both had a great time!

First day of T-ball

Isaac was really nervous and shy when we got there. It took me a lot of encouraging, but he finally tried batting and was really excited! Hopefully, he'll be more confident on Wednesday.

Hannah just learned to go up the stairs and loves it. Her favorite new game is falling backwards, knowing we are right there to catch her!

We walked over to Whispering Meadows Elementary tonight. Only a 12 minute walk from our new house; I'm sure we'll be frequent visitors!

Last Dinner at Noodles & Co

As all of food and dishes are in boxes, we met some friends out for dinner tonight. Sue and her kids, Sam and Frida, and Beth, with her two, Avery and Brody, have been great friends/neighbors over the years and we will really miss them!

Isaac's last day at Concordia

Isaac's class made cupcakes today for an early birthday/going away party. Melissa came in for the little party. Isaac liked showing his friends photos of his new house. They all said, "Bye Isaac" and he replied "I'm not going right now!"

Isaac had his friend, Ben, over to play today. They've been together at Concordia for almost 3 years and are best buds. We had a great time at the park!

Hannah is a really good eater, but her favorite is drinking water out of one of our glasses when she's done. Needless to say, this gets very messy. As Isaac said - "She thinks it is a water table".
