We went out to Great-Grandma's to visit. Isaac had so much fun playing Connect Four while Grandma rocked Hannah. She's still got the touch because Hannah slept the whole time!

Melissa and the kids spent the week in Fort Wayne at Melissa's mom's house. Melissa's cousin, Amy, came to visit with her daughters, Iris and Aleta. Aleta is just one week older than Hannah, so they started to get to know each other.

I know she's only a month old, but it's true! She was on her tummy yesterday on the table at the doctor's office. I was talking to the doctor and all of a sudden, she rolled to her back. She did it again at home today on her playmat. She is an amazing little girl!

Forest Park Summerfest

We went to Summerfest tonight!  Isaac wasn't too sure about face-painting at first.  So, we tried the miniature golf, which he loved.  Then, he saw some other kids with Spiderman face-painting, so he really wanted it.  We couldn't believe he sat still the whole time and was so excited afterwards!  He was the hit of the festival.  So many kids and adults said "Hi Spiderman" as we walked around.  He went down the giant slide with Melissa, and we enjoyed the music for a while.  We also ran into lots of friends along the way.  Isaac loved running through the fountain (though he was a little worried about the water washing off his Spiderman).  He was quite devastated when it was time to leave.  Hannah slept the whole time in the carrier with Dave!

Melissa's dad and Marna came to meet Hannah for the weekend. It was nice to have the help and Isaac loved playing with them.

Hannah Jean Arrives!

Our little girl arrived last night at 2:23am. Melissa started getting contractions around 12:45am, so we called our neighbor, Frank, to come sleep at the house with Isaac. We got to the hospital around 1:30am, and she came very quickly! She's beautiful, don't you think?

Isaac's first sleepover!

Melissa started having some mild contractions during the day yesterday, so we were a bit worried that labor would happen that evening.  We were playing at our neighbor's house after work, and Beth suggested that Isaac just spend the night there.  Avery and Isaac were both very excited about it, so we thought we'd give it a try.  The contractions went away, but the sleepover was a great success, and they can't wait to do it again!

Avery's Birthday Party

Isaac's friend and our neighbor, Avery, celebrated her 3rd birthday at Brown Cow.  The kids got to decorate their own ice cream cupcakes.  Isaac doesn't usually like ice cream, but loved the cupcake (I think he thought it was more cupcake than ice cream)!

Dave drove to Michigan to be with his dad at Easter Vigil, when he was initiated into the Catholic Church.  So, the Easter Bunny came to our house a day early.  Isaac was very excited to check out all his candy and goodies.  Melissa's mom came to town to hang out with Melissa and Isaac while Dave was gone for the weekend.

My coworkers had a great party for me to celebrate the upcoming arrival.  The cake was delicious and they chipped in for a gift card for baby supplies.
