Isaac's 3rd Birthday Party

We celebrated Isaac's birthday a week early because of Easter. We had a big party at Little Monkey Bizness with about 15 of Isaac's friends. It was so fun to watch him run around with his friends. He had a cake with Buzz and Woody.

Dylan's Birthday Party

One of Isaac's best friends, Dylan, had his birthday party at Brown Cow Ice cream shop.  Isaac was so excited to see his friends outside of school.

Big Brother Class

I took Isaac to a class at the hospital called "My Mommy's Having a Baby". He was very interested, but shy the whole time. At the end, they went up to the nursery a saw a baby!

Isaac laid there and read his Bible cover-to-cover for over 15 minutes while Melissa ate breakfast and Dave was in the shower.

Grandpa and Marna visit

Dad and Marna visited for the weekend.  They brought some early birthday presents for Isaac, so he was immediately thrilled!

Since they won't be back for Isaac's birthday party, we celebrated Isaac's birthday a little early.  Marna made a small cake, which was delicious!

Our neighbor, Beth, and her daughter, Avery, stopped by on a walk after work tonight.  Avery really wanted to go to the park, but Melissa couldn't walk that far.  So, Beth offered to take Avery and Isaac to the park for a little while.  Isaac had a great time playing with Avery.

While Melissa's mom was in town, we went to Portillo's for lunch. Isaac had a blast on the stools.

Melissa's Birthday

After Dave and Isaac made the cake, we all went to Mancini's in Oak Park for dinner.  Melissa has had a lot of pelvic pain from the pregnancy, so this was the only time we left the house all weekend.  Dave dropped Melissa off at the door, so she didn't have to walk far.  It was a great dinner, and we brought some gelato home.  Then, we had our birthday cake.  It was a great birthday, despite the lazy weekend.

Dave and Isaac made a birthday cake for Melissa's birthday.  Isaac loved putting LOTS of sprinkles on top.  It was a little crunchy (because of the sprinkles), but tasted great!

Making Valentine's Day Cupcakes

Isaac loves to bake, so this was a great Sunday activity.  Mommy and Isaac mixed and baked them, Mommy iced them, and Daddy and Isaac decorated.  Isaac loved putting lots of sprinkles on them, but not as much as he loved eating them!  We delivered some to his friends, Sam and Frieda, and Avery and Brody.
